Privacy policy

This policy explains what Baackup LLC ("Baackup," "we," "us") collects through this website, getbaackup.com, and how we use it.
It doesn't cover the information agencies put into the Baackup app (their staff, schedules and client initials). That information belongs to each agency and is handled under our written agreement with that agency, including a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement.
What we collect
- Demo requests. When you use the "Book a demo" form, we receive your name, agency name, work email, phone number (optional), role, number of staff and anything you choose to write in the message box.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address and the time of each visit, for security and to keep the site running.
Please don't include any client or patient information in the form. It isn't designed for it, and we don't need it to set up a demo.
How we use it
We use demo requests only to reply to you, set up a demo and talk with you about Baackup. The form sends your request to our own email inbox. It isn't saved in a database. To block spam, we keep short-lived counters based on a scrambled version of your IP address; they're deleted automatically within about two days.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't use cookies or advertising trackers. To understand how the site is used, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts visits and records things like which pages were viewed, the site that sent you here, your country and how fast the page loaded. Cloudflare says it doesn't use cookies or local storage and doesn't fingerprint visitors, so it doesn't tell us who you are. Apart from that Cloudflare script, the site doesn't load anything from other companies' servers.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information or share it for marketing. It's handled only by the service providers that run this website and our email: Cloudflare (website hosting and visit statistics), Amazon Web Services (the form and email delivery) and Google Workspace (our email).
How long we keep it
We keep demo requests in our email only as long as we need them to follow up with you, and delete them when they're no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete what you sent us by emailing [email protected].
Children
This website is for agency owners and staff. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
